on saturday i went to the pv art center with my mom to see their “off the wall and on the runway” fashion show featuring wearable art. one of my mom’s friends is an art center member and makes jewlery that’s sold there and she got tickets for us. it was dreadfully hot that day so i felt the show was too long, but most of the pieces were interesting. here’s one of my favorites.. it’s a dress made completely out of romance novel covers..

that night (at midnight) charles and i went to our local gamestop to get our pre-ordered copy of mario kart wii! the game comes with a wii wheel and although it’s not the easiest thing to just pick up and play with i think i’m starting to get the hang of it. the new game features automatic and manual drifting, making it different from its predecessors. of course, no self-respecting mario kart player is going to use automatic drifting so.. haha. i’ve been all wii-d out lately! so many games now and gadgets, and i can sit all lazily in the far couch now that lana gave me a wireless sensor bar thanks!
