to the inventor of weekends: i applaud you.

somewhereeeee over the rainbowwwwww..
that’s a picture that charles took 2-3 weeks ago on his cell phone of the view that greeted him as he stepped out of my front door to go to work. we hardly ever get rainbows here in socal! what a pretty sight.
on saturday, we went to san gabriel to eat dim sum with bev, johnny, jack & johnny’s parents, who are visiting from.. where do they live now? florida? it was very delicious, but the place is pretty new and all the waiters and waitresses are really rude! i don’t know what the place is called, but it’s upstairs in the shopping center in the plaza that’s on the corner of del mar and valley. one of the good things, as i was telling charles during the meal, was that it was so loud in there that no other restaurant patrons were able to hear any of jack’s outbursts. haha!
me & bei-kun
the grandparents (minus my daddy) at a fountain in the plaza.
we coerced a passerby to take a picture of the whole crew.
"this beard.. where can i get one?"
this is an awesome video of jack sitting on johnny’s shoulders. ah, to be delighted by such simple matters.
i have no pictures of what happened on sunday, but i overate at dinner and i wanted to throw up. you’ll rue the day you crossed me, korean bbq! sadly, i have gained 6 pounds over the last year (all in my stomach area, if you saw it, you wouldn’t believe it, it’s so gross, eew, let’s not talk about it) so now i’m trying to diet (don’t ask me what my strategy is, i don’t know, have i really been eating less, not really, no more ice cream sandwiches, more oatmeal) and exercise by playing wii fit. really, i exercise all the time. *hem, hem*

who says i don't engage in physical activity!?
this is really all elaine’s fault.
“june, let’s play ping pong!”
“i’m eating pears.”
“come on! let’s play!”
june walks, pears in hand, stuffs another pear slice into her mouth, picks up the paddle with her free hand, and gets ready to swing.
elaine erupts in fits of laughter.
yeah, we played. i made her run for the ball a lot, though.
