so today we went to melrose after having a yummy mother’s day brunch at bev’s place in the morning. charles has been wanting to check out the new bape store since it opened a couple of weeks ago. it’s pretty cool, both the outside and the inside of the store. check out this picture of some of the light designs from the storefront.

the inside has a rotating luggage carousel type thing full of shoes.. it’s pretty neat. their standard t-shirts are $73 and hoodies are $250. there was this panda hoodie that’s really awesome that they just got in today that they only have two of, but it’s $300 and needless to say, i didn’t buy one
it’s the kind that you can zip up to the top of your head, haha. charles almost bought a t-shirt, but they don’t have any mediums! we left dejectedly.
a kid robot store is right across the street from the bape store, so we headed there next. i caved and bought one of the blind assortment yummy breakfast keychains because they’re all so cute..

HOWEVER.. i got a bagel one! a bagel! O_o seriously, they’re ALL cute except for the bagel. i put it on my keychain anyway, but it’s just a tan colored circle with eyes and a dashed mouth. i couldn’t have gotten the fried egg or the milk carton or the pancakes or a doughnut.. pretty much the whole reason i wrote this post is to express my disappointment with my $4.95 purchase. i don’t know why we’re not allowed to pick our own. this sucks.
