hahahahahaha there’s so few of you who are going to get this but it’s a good day when you find an animal crossing based comic.

aside from school stuff that’s been keeping me busy, i’ve been trying to unlock at least one new kart or character in my mario kart wii game a day. i’m frustrated because i keep getting hit with spikey shells! thus i got a kick out of this comic from penny arcade titled disincentives.

other than that, does anyone know the point of having spf 70 sunscreen? i mean, i usually reach for the spf 45 instead of the 15 or something, but 70 just seems kind of excessive to me, and i’ve been seeing it around, most recently the neutrogena mists at nordstrom rack. jennell’s told me in the past that the higher the number, the longer it lasts (the exact formula i forget), and i still go by that, but i’ve read so much stuff that says otherwise. the higher it gets, the more UV rays are blocked, but the amount which gets filtered out goes down exponentially. is it really necessary to use spf 70 to get that extra 0.1% of UV rays away from your skin? i don’t spend that much time in the sun, anyway.
